Eureka Animal Control Department
Eureka's Animal Control department is committed to reducing the number of stray animals in town and enforcing all animal ordinances. The animal pound is located on North State Street next to the Airport and is where all of the picked up animals are kept.
Steve Taylor, the animal control officer is also responsible for the code enforcement duties of the City. He is charged with enforcing all of the City's ordinances including but not limited to health and nuisance violations, junked vehicle violations and dangerous and unfit structure violations.
To make a code enforcement complaint, report a lost animal or if there are any questions regarding this department, please call 583-6140 and your query will be answered and acted on in a timely fashion.
