Eureka Municipal Airport (K13K)

The Eureka Municipal Airport is managed by Bob Kenneson, with oversight from the City Administrator and the Eureka Airport Board. The Eureka Municipal Airport is located 2 miles north of Eureka on North State Street. Recent State and Federal grant money has secured the longevity of the concrete runway and promises a more modernized airport. The City plans the installation of an Automated Weather Operating System (AWOS) at the airport within the next couple of years. This will make pilots privy to a wealth of weather related information at the airport, which will hopefully increase air traffic. Other plans include the expansion of our turnarounds and the construction of new T-hangers for airplane storage within the next few years.
